Day 3: Yerevan – Garni – Geghard – Vernissage
After breakfast, continue your Yerevan day trip with a visit to Garni, home to a first-
century Greco-Roman temple dedicated to Mithra, the Sun God. It is the only surviving
Hellenistic temple in modern Armenia.
Next, head to Geghard, the Monastery of the Spear, located at the entrance to the
Azat Valley. The monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers stunning views of
the valley and is a must-visit.
On your return to Yerevan, stop at the Vernissage Market to shop for souvenirs,
including silk scarves, handmade handbags, unique accessories, antiques, and carpets.
