Day 02: Dhaka
After breakfast, enjoy a city tour of Dhaka. Begin with a visit to the Freedom War Museum, dedicated to the history of Bangladesh's liberation struggle. Then, explore the historic Ahsan Manzil, a grand palace turned museum, followed by a stop at the bustling Sadarghat River Port, where you can witness the daily river activities.
Next, visit the beautiful Star Mosque, known for its unique star-patterned tiles, and the impressive Lalbagh Mughal Fort, a 17th-century fortress with rich historical significance. End the tour with a visit to the iconic Parliament Building, an architectural marvel designed by Louis Kahn.
After lunch on your own, leave to visit the Independence Memorial in Savar. Visit the brassware village in Dhamrai. On the way back, stop by the riverbank in Ashulia.
