Itinerary

Day 01 : Windhoek → Etosha National Park
  • Depart Windhoek early (≈ 08:00) and drive north with a short stop in Otjiwarongo for lunch.
  • Enter Etosha National Park mid‐afternoon and begin game drives, focusing on waterholes where zebra, giraffe, elephant, and rhino gather.
  • Overnight stay at a camp inside Etosha National Park.
Day 02 : Etosha National Park
  • Early morning game drive before sunrise, followed by a late‐morning break.
  • Afternoon game drive to spot the Big Four (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino) and plains wildlife such as springbok, gemsbok, and ostrich.
  • Overnight stay at a camp just outside the park.
Day 03 : Etosha → Swakopmund via Damaraland
  • After breakfast, depart for Swakopmund.
  • En route, visit the Ugab River area to meet Herero women selling local handicrafts. Stop for lunch beneath the Brandberg Mountains, then visit a Himba village to see traditional crafts.
  • Continue through the arid landscapes to the Skeleton Coast’s famous shipwreck site.
  • Arrive in Swakopmund by late afternoon; evening at leisure to explore the coastal town.
Day 04 : Swakopmund → Namib Desert (Sesriem Region)
  • Morning at leisure—options include visiting local museums, an aquarium, or a sandboarding excursion in nearby dunes.
  • Depart Swakopmund after lunch, driving southeast through the Kuiseb Canyon and the small settlement of Solitaire.
  • Arrive at a desert camp near Sesriem late afternoon; join a sunset walk to view Naukluft Mountains.
  • Overnight stay in the Sesriem area.
Day 05 : Sesriem → Sossusvlei
  • Early departure (pre‐dawn) to reach Sossusvlei before sunrise.
  • Drive down a dried riverbed into the heart of the dunes and transfer by 4×4 shuttle across the salt pan. Walk to Deadvlei among ancient camel thorn trees and white clay pan.
  • On the return, stop at Dune 45 for a short hike or desert walk and visit Sesriem Canyon.
  • Return to your desert camp for dinner and stargazing.
Day 06 :Sesriem → Windhoek
  • After breakfast, drive to Windhoek via Solitaire Guest Farm. A biologist may lead a short cheetah‐tracking walk in the Namib Conservation Centre.
  • Continue via the Naukluft mountain pass and Rehoboth into Windhoek.
  • Overnight stay in Windhoek (accommodation on your own).
Day 07 : Departure
  • After breakfast, transfer to Windhoek International Airport for your outbound flight.
