Day 02 : Tenza → Paipa
After breakfast, depart Tenza and drive toward Paipa, a lakeside town known for its thermal springs.
Afternoon at leisure to relax in hot springs or explore the town. Overnight in Paipa.
Day 03 : Paipa → Villa de Leyva
Breakfast, then depart for Villa de Leyva via Pantano de Vargas battlefield site and Casona del Salitre (18th-century colonial house).
Continue through Lago de Tota, Sogamoso, and Duitama to Villa de Leyva, one of Colombia’s best-preserved colonial towns. Overnight in Villa de Leyva.
Day 04 : Villa de Leyva (Local Exploration)
Morning walking tour: Plaza Mayor, colonial churches, and traditional whitewashed buildings.
Afternoon visit to Ecce Homo Convent (17th century) and a nearby fossil site (over 150 million years old). Free time to explore. Overnight in Villa de Leyva.
Day 05 : Villa de Leyva → Bogotá (Return)
After breakfast, depart via Ráquira (artisan pottery village) and Chiquinquirá pilgrimage site.
Visit the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá, an underground church carved into a salt mine.
Continue back to Bogotá, arriving late afternoon. Transfer to the airport or hotel for departure.
